1. General provisions
Karyo provides a software platform that helps users create and manage job application documents. Karyo is not a job board, not an employment agency, and not a representative of employers.
By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.
2. Description of services
Karyo provides technical tools that allow users to:
- independently collect publicly accessible information,
- generate AI-assisted draft applications based on this information, and
- manage and organise their applications.
Karyo does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the content provided by users or of the results generated from it.
3. Use of third-party content and websites
The use of information from third-party websites (e.g. job portals or company websites) is solely at the initiative and responsibility of the user.
The user is solely responsible for:
- complying with the terms of use and other legal requirements of the respective third-party website,
- ensuring that collecting and using content is lawful, and
- not circumventing or misusing any technical protection measures.
Karyo does not store, publish, or distribute complete job postings or other content from third-party websites.
4. Obligations of users
The user undertakes to use the services only for lawful purposes and in particular to:
- not infringe the rights of third parties (e.g. copyrights, personality rights, data protection rights),
- not provide misleading, false, or impermissible information in applications, and
- independently review the content generated by Karyo before using it.
The user bears sole responsibility for the content, accuracy, and transmission of their applications.
5. AI-generated content
The AI functions provided by Karyo are for support purposes only. The generated content does not constitute legal, professional, or any other form of advice.
Karyo assumes no liability for:
- the success or failure of applications,
- decisions made by employers, or
- consequences arising from the use of AI-generated content.
6. Intellectual property
The software, user interface, and proprietary content of Karyo are protected by copyright. Users are granted a simple, non-transferable right to use the services in accordance with the contract.
Rights to content from third-party providers remain with the respective rights holders.
7. Limitation of liability
Karyo is liable only for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct, to the extent permitted by law.
Liability for indirect damages, loss of profit, data loss, or other consequential damages is excluded.
8. Changes to the Terms of Use
Karyo reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time. The current version is available on the website and applies from the time of publication.
